Classes & Workshops
We are active in helping our community understand and appreciate the Deaf and Hard of Hearing cultures as well as supporting our consumers. We offer:
  • SC:L Written & Performance Test Preparation Series is open nationally certified interpreters seeking legal training. Review the brochure to learn more and register. For further information, contact jo@ldhh.org 


  • American Sign Language (ASL) is open to anyone with a need or interest in learning ASL. For info or to register, contact jo@ldhh.org

  • Speechreading classes which are open to adults who are Hard of Hearing.

  • Youth Summer Sign Program, a day camp open to any youth - Hearing, Deaf or Hard of Hearing - with a desire or need to learn American Sign Language. For more information, or call 615-248-8828 (V/TTY).

  • Pre-Employment Classes to assist Deaf or Hard of Hearing adults with their job hunting skills. For info, call 615-248-8828 (V/TTY).

  • Workshops that we co-sponsor with the Nashville Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
